Photos of the World Ship Society Port of New York Branch visit to the Peaceboat Organization's TSS THE TOPAZ (ex OLYMPIC ex FIESTAMARINA ex CARNIVALE ex QUEEN ANNA MARIA ex EMPRESS OF BRITAIN) at the New York Cruise Terminal on 6 June 2006.
All the way aft is the Broadway Show Lounge, the biggest public room on the ship. Originally, this was open deck space, and it was enclosed to create a show lounge by Greek Line in 1965 when the ship became QUEEN ANNA MARIA. Its current decor is by Joe Farcus and dates from the late CARNIVALE era. It is shown here in a forward-facing view.
